Celebrating Five Years of Legal Transformation
On January 16, 2025, the Finnish legal tech network Legal Tech Glögit celebrated its five-year anniversary with a special event in Helsinki. Read more about the Legal Tech Glögit Network here.
Established with the goal of connecting professionals and driving advancements in legal tech, Legal Tech Glögit has become a central hub for Finland’s rapidly growing legal tech community. The network’s mission has been to create a shared understanding and a holistic view of legal transformation. It’s been exciting to see how well the legal transformation has been embraced in Finland.
During the event, Heikki Ilvessalo, one of the founders of Legal Tech Glögit, reflected on the network’s growth and the achievements that have been realized over the years. The evening also featured a special presentation by Helena Hallgarn, who introduced Swedens chapter of the network, a newly established Legal Transformation Network, which was inspired by Legal Tech Glögit activities in Finland. The collaboration between Finland and Sweden serves as the starting point for a broader vision to expand into a wider Nordic network, with an emphasis on fostering cross-border innovation and knowledge exchange. The goal is to build a thriving community that brings together various stakeholders, such as legal service providers, in-house counsel, tech innovators, consultants, students, and academia.
The Legal Tech Glögit Five-Year anniversary is just the beginning. We’re excited to see what the next chapter holds for the Legal Transformation Network, Finland, and for the broader legal technology ecosystem.
